Seven apps, each with its own servers that we run ourselves, day to day. Four are on Google Play now; the rest are with testers, and the iPhone versions are on their way to the App Store.
Live GPS patrol tracking for residential estates, neighbourhood watches and businesses. Patrollers carry the app; the control room watches a live map, receives panic alarms and keeps a verifiable record of every patrol walked.
Know who’s round the bend. Doggoes warns walkers when another dog is close by on the path — its size, whether it is on a lead and whether it is reactive — and pins hazards like snakes or broken glass for everyone.
Records your route with or without signal, shares a live link with the people at home, and emails your chosen contacts if you are overdue or your phone goes quiet on the trail.
Time, distance and pace, plus a live link for home and a hold-to-alarm button. If you stop moving or wander off route it asks you first, then lets the people you choose know.
Family location sharing, built around looking after someone vulnerable. The clan is alerted when a phone goes silent, a battery is about to die or the help button is held — and it runs for months untouched.
Is Chapman’s Peak Drive open? A home-screen widget turns green, red or grey with the road’s status, and you get a warning if you drive towards a closed end.
Offline race timing for volunteer-run events: one phone taps finish times, another scans bibs and position tokens, and up to six races share one finish funnel. No signal needed.
